Now available through Bring a Trailer, this 2023 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon has been comprehensively upgraded by American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) in Wixom, Michigan, through its JT370 Classic package. Designed to elevate the Gladiator’s trail performance while maintaining factory-level refinement, the build incorporates an extensive collection of premium off-road components and functional enhancements.
At its heart is the proven 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, paired with an AEV ProCal SNAP calibration module to optimize performance. Complementing the package are the Black Branding Package, a 2.5-inch DualSport RT suspension system, 17-inch AEV Salta XR wheels, a JL EX front bumper, Warn EVO10-S winch, heavy-duty skid protection, and integrated LED auxiliary lighting. The interior also receives exclusive AEV-branded leather upholstery, reinforcing the truck’s expedition-focused identity.
Ordered new with more than $12,000 in factory options, this Gladiator combines AEV engineering with a well-equipped Rubicon specification. Notable factory packages include the Trailer-Tow Package, Cold Weather Group, Premium LED Lighting Group, and Auxiliary Switch Group. Additional features include an eight-speed automatic transmission, removable three-piece Freedom Top hardtop, Mopar spray-in bedliner, heated front seats, dual-range Rock-Trac transfer case, and electronically locking front and rear differentials, creating an exceptionally capable platform for both daily driving and demanding off-road adventures.
Finished in Black Clearcoat, the exterior showcases the full range of AEV upgrades. The JL EX steel front bumper integrates a Warn EVO10-S winch, lower skid protection, and powerful 7000 Series LED lighting, highlighted by a Baja Designs 20-inch light bar with amber lenses for improved visibility in challenging terrain. Rock Slide Engineering power-deploying rock sliders add both convenience and trail protection, while an AEV windshield banner, receiver hitch, tow hooks, hood vents, and spray-in bedliner complete the truck’s rugged appearance.
The JT370 package also transforms the Gladiator’s stance and capability. Black-finished 17-inch AEV Salta XR wheels wear massive 37×12.50-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires, while the upgraded 2.5-inch DualSport RT suspension improves articulation and ride quality. A disconnecting front sway bar further enhances suspension travel during technical off-road driving.
Inside, black leather seats with contrasting red stitching feature embroidered AEV logos on the headrests. Heated front seats, remote start, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an Alpine premium audio system contribute to everyday comfort. The Uconnect 4C infotainment system features an 8.4-inch touchscreen with integrated navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a ParkView rearview camera. Ahead of the heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, AEV-branded gauges flank a configurable digital display, while the odometer shows approximately 9,000 miles.
Mechanical upgrades extend beyond suspension enhancements. The Pentastar V6 sends power through an eight-speed automatic transmission to either the rear or all four wheels via the Rock-Trac transfer case. AEV differential covers protect the locking front and rear axles, while the JT370 package adds shorter 4.56:1 axle gearing for improved low-speed crawling and better compatibility with the oversized tires. Additional skid plates safeguard the fuel tank, transmission, and transfer case, completing a Gladiator purpose-built for serious off-road exploration.
