Jeep has introduced the new 2027 Wrangler Smoky Mountain Special Edition, a model designed to celebrate the off-road community and one of the nation’s largest enthusiast events, the Smoky Mountain Invasion in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Revealed during the event’s 14th annual gathering, the limited-edition Wrangler marks the 10th installment in Jeep’s exclusive Twelve 4 Twelve series, a collection of special models inspired by iconic locations, heritage, and the brand’s passionate owner base.
Set against the backdrop of the Great Smoky Mountains, the annual event attracts nearly 50,000 attendees and approximately 20,000 Jeep vehicles, making it one of the largest Jeep-focused festivals in the United States. The gathering combines scenic trail drives, custom builds, aftermarket displays, and community activities, reinforcing the strong culture that has long surrounded the Jeep brand.

Visually, the Smoky Mountain edition distinguishes itself through exclusive hood-side graphics depicting mountain peaks and winding trails, complemented by 17-inch smoky black wheels, a Gloss Black seven-slot grille, and body-color hardtop and fender flares. Customers can also opt for Jeep’s Sky One-touch powertop. Standard equipment includes 33-inch BFGoodrich KO2 all-terrain tires, while 35-inch tires are available for buyers seeking additional off-road performance. Mechanical upgrades include Dana 44 front and rear axles, a locking rear differential, steel rock rails, a 4.10 axle ratio, and a factory trailer hitch.
Inside, the cabin features premium Black Ferndale cloth seats with embossed textures and deeper bolsters, accented by Terracotta stitching and metallic Blaze Orange details inspired by Smoky Mountain sunrises. Exclusive touches include a 1941 Willys parachute motif, commemorative plaques, and wildlife-themed graphics, creating a unique connection to both Jeep heritage and the region’s natural beauty.
Orders for the 2027 Jeep Wrangler Smoky Mountain Special Edition are now open. Available with either the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder automatic or the 3.6-liter V6 automatic powertrain, the package carries a modest premium of just $80 over a comparably equipped Wrangler Willys, offering enthusiasts an affordable way to own one of Jeep’s most distinctive special editions.
