Now offered on Bring a Trailer, this 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk combines factory-developed high-performance hardware with extensive upgrades from Hennessey Performance and a recent engine rebuild carried out by Prolific Performance. Originally transformed with Hennessey’s HPE1000 package, the SUV has since undergone more than $36,000 in additional mechanical work between November 2025 and March 2026.
At the heart of the Trackhawk is its supercharged 6.2-liter V8, retained from the original Hennessey conversion. Following an injector failure, Prolific Performance rebuilt the engine around a replacement short block sourced from Disomma Racing Engines. The rebuild incorporates CP-Carillo 9.5:1 pistons, Bullet Series connecting rods, ARP main and head studs, machined and resurfaced cylinder heads, custom chromoly pushrods, and a custom camshaft with a phaser-lockout plate.
The forced-induction system has also been revised with a ZPE GripTec upper pulley, while upgraded fuel injectors, an ATI harmonic balancer, Mishimoto 180-degree thermostat, and Prolific Performance engine calibration further support the modified powertrain. A JLT Performance intake and oil separator improve airflow and crankcase management. Exhaust gases exit through a Corsa cat-back system paired with custom-fabricated stainless-steel downpipes. Power is delivered through a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission with revised tuning, Quadra-Trac four-wheel drive, and an electronic limited-slip rear differential. Suspension modifications include Eibach lowering springs and an Eibach Pro-Camber setup incorporating billet-aluminum adjustable control arms.
Visually, the Trackhawk retains its aggressive factory character, distinguished by a vented hood, cooling-duct-equipped front bumper, body-color fender extensions, roof spoiler, LED taillights, and quad exhaust outlets. Its Billet Silver Metallic Clearcoat finish is complemented by a Hennessey rear badge and black satin 20-inch wheels wrapped in 295/45 Pirelli Scorpion Verde all-season tires. Braking performance comes from yellow six-piston front and four-piston rear Brembo calipers.
Inside, Dark Ruby Red Laguna leather covers the heated and ventilated front seats and heated rear seating, with Trackhawk logos integrated into the front backrests. Carbon-fiber trim, Hennessey floor mats, red seatbelts, and leather-wrapped interior panels reinforce the performance-oriented character. Equipment includes a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, Uconnect 4C infotainment with an 8.4-inch touchscreen, navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, remote start, and Keyless Enter ’N Go. Driver-assistance technology includes a rearview camera, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, cross-path detection, LaneSense Lane Departure Warning Plus, and Park Assist.
