Jeep Twelve 4 Twelve: All 12 Wrangler Special Editions

A year of celebrating Wrangler heritage, performance, and individuality

Jeep is celebrating its 85th anniversary with Twelve 4 Twelve, a yearlong program introducing 12 limited-edition Wrangler models over 12 consecutive months. Launched in November 2025, the initiative gives the brand a platform to explore its military roots, off-road legacy, pop-culture connections, and evolving customization culture through a succession of specially configured Wranglers.

Unlike a conventional model-year update or a single anniversary package, Twelve 4 Twelve makes each monthly release a distinct event. Every edition has its own design theme, visual identity, and combination of equipment, while retaining the Wrangler’s core attributes: removable body panels, open-air driving, four-wheel-drive capability, and a chassis engineered for demanding terrain.

The program began with the V8-powered Wrangler Moab 392 and subsequently expanded to include heritage-inspired designs, retro graphics, patriotic styling, and special interior treatments. Some editions revisit recognizable details from earlier Jeep models, while others draw inspiration from particular destinations, historical milestones, and the enthusiast community.

Scarcity is central to the initiative. Each release has limited production and availability, meaning buyers cannot assume that a missed edition will return later. Once a monthly allocation is exhausted, that opportunity is effectively gone.

The result is a rolling celebration of the Wrangler nameplate, with each release offering a different interpretation of what makes Jeep distinctive.

The Road to Twelve: Every Jeep Wrangler Special Edition

1. November 2025 — Jeep Wrangler MOAB 392

The series opened with its most powerful statement: the Wrangler MOAB 392, inspired by Jeep’s 85th anniversary and the 60th anniversary of the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. Its 6.4-liter HEMI V8 gives the Wrangler a distinctly performance-oriented character, complemented by premium equipment and serious off-road hardware. The MOAB 392 establishes the program’s central idea: special editions can celebrate Jeep’s identity without abandoning its trail-focused engineering.

2. December 2025 — Jeep Wrangler Whitecap

Drawing from the classic CJ-Universal, Whitecap revives the visual impact of an Arctic White roof. Its bright-white hardtop and grille create a deliberate contrast with the body color, modernizing a familiar Jeep styling cue. Offered on Sahara and Rubicon configurations, Whitecap emphasizes personalization rather than a wholesale mechanical transformation.

3. January 2026 — Jeep Wrangler 85th Anniversary Edition

The 85th Anniversary Edition makes the anniversary itself the centerpiece. Exclusive plaid seat inserts and matching interior accents evoke traditional American workwear and outdoor culture. Steel Oxide-painted 17-inch wheels, bronze tow hooks, and Blue Agave anniversary graphics provide further differentiation. Rather than relying solely on exterior paint, the package carries its commemorative identity throughout the cabin and exterior.

4. February 2026 — Jeep Wrangler Willys 392

The Willys 392 combines the recognizable Willys identity with a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 producing 470 horsepower. It brings V8 performance to a nameplate historically associated with straightforward, functional off-road vehicles. The result broadens the Willys concept beyond its traditional simplicity, pairing heritage-inspired styling with one of the Wrangler range’s most powerful combustion engines.

5. March 2026 — Jeep Wrangler Rockslide

Rockslide explores a more expressive design language, combining blue accents with the Wrangler’s established off-road appearance. Its Indigo Blue and Denim interior introduces a new color direction for the Twelve 4 Twelve series. On Sahara versions, the return of standard steel rock rails also reinforces the connection between distinctive styling and practical trail protection.

6. April 2026 — Jeep Wrangler Rewind

Rewind draws inspiration from the bright colors and graphics of the 1980s and 1990s. Its path to production is particularly notable: the idea first appeared as a one-off concept at the 2025 Easter Jeep Safari, where enthusiastic public reaction helped turn it into a limited-edition offering. Rewind demonstrates how Jeep uses enthusiast events as a proving ground for ideas that might eventually reach customers.

7. May 2026 — Jeep Wrangler America250

Created around the United States’ 250th anniversary in 2026, America250 pairs the Wrangler Willys platform with Steel Oxide wheels, Jean Blue seats and soft top, red accents, and commemorative graphics. Its most distinctive detail is an exclusive Captain America shield spare-tire cover developed with Marvel. The collaboration connects two American cultural icons while giving this edition a recognizable visual signature.

8. June 2026 — Jeep Wrangler Sarge

Sarge returns to the visual language of the original Willys MB through its 1941-inspired detailing and ’41 Green exterior. Inside, exclusive Cattle Tan Nappa leather and Drab Green trim provide a more upscale interpretation of military-inspired colors. The edition highlights how Jeep can draw on its wartime history without simply reproducing an original military vehicle.

9. July 2026 — Jeep Wrangler Laredo

The Laredo name recalls a Jeep trim associated with the 1980s. This modern interpretation builds on the Wrangler Willys, using rodeo-inspired design, earth tones, and distinctive graphics to give the vehicle a Western character. Its appeal lies in combining a recognizable historical name with the established Trail Rated capability of the current Wrangler platform.

10. August 2026 — Jeep Wrangler Smoky Mountain

Inspired by the Great Smoky Mountains and the enthusiasts who gather in the region, Smoky Mountain celebrates the culture surrounding Jeep ownership as much as the landscape itself. Its identity centers on open-air freedom, trail capability, and distinctive Wrangler styling. The edition also recognizes that Jeep’s heritage is sustained by regional events and owner communities, not just by factory milestones.

11. September 2026 — Jeep Wrangler JL-2A

JL-2A looks back to the 1945 Willys CJ-2A, one of the defining vehicles in Jeep’s transition from military production to civilian use. A Gobi exterior is paired with a Wrangler-first combination of Nappa Heritage Tan and Bison Brown upholstery, Desert Orange stitching, and commemorative Willys-Overland details. Its significance is historical as well as visual: it connects the modern Wrangler to the civilian Jeep that helped establish the brand’s postwar identity.

12. October 2026 — Jeep Wrangler Switchback

Unveiled on October 12, 2026, Switchback completes the series with a fresh approach to factory personalization. Based on the Wrangler Rubicon X, it pairs contrasting Gloss Black and Sting-Gray body components with Gecko-colored grille accents, bright-colored beadlock-style wheel rings, and exclusive graphics. The cabin adds Global Black Nappa leather, Sea Salt accents, and Pearl and Lime stitching. Available in two- and four-door configurations, Switchback turns the Wrangler’s modular design into the centerpiece of the final release.

Twelve Editions, One Wrangler Legacy

The Twelve 4 Twelve program illustrates how Jeep can use its history as an active part of its product strategy. Across 12 monthly releases, the brand has explored V8 performance, military heritage, civilian Jeep origins, American pop culture, regional enthusiast communities, and contemporary customization.

The progression from the MOAB 392 to the Switchback also reflects the Wrangler’s unusual versatility as a product. Its identity is broad enough to accommodate both traditional off-road hardware and expressive design treatments without losing the recognizable character that has defined the nameplate for generations.

Ultimately, Twelve 4 Twelve is a celebration of the many ways people connect with Jeep. Some buyers are drawn to the mechanical appeal of a V8, others to a historical reference or a distinctive color combination, and still others to the exclusivity of owning a limited-run model.

By giving each edition its own identity while keeping the Wrangler at the center, Jeep has transformed its 85th-anniversary celebration into a yearlong showcase of heritage, capability, and personalization.
