Desert Orange contrast stitching provides the interior with a visual connection to the exterior’s Joose wheels and orange tow hooks. Rather than treating the heritage theme as a collection of badges, Jeep has integrated the color scheme throughout the cabin.
The historical references become even more specific with the Willys-Overland satin-chrome shifter medallion and heritage-inspired HVAC vent graphics. The vent designs incorporate the seven-slot grille and a Willys silhouette, directly linking the modern Wrangler to its predecessor.
A particularly detailed touch appears on the rear swing gate. Its exclusive plaque recreates the artwork of the original CJ-2A dashboard data plate, including farm and factory imagery that recalls the civilian Jeep’s original agricultural and industrial missions.
Standard Technology and Convenience Equipment
Despite its deliberately nostalgic styling, the JL-2A is equipped for contemporary daily use.
The Convenience Group is standard and includes remote start, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a universal garage-door opener. The model also receives a front TrailCam with an integrated washer, an important feature for a vehicle designed to spend significant time negotiating difficult terrain.
The TrailCam helps the driver see the terrain immediately ahead of the vehicle, while the integrated washer helps maintain visibility when mud, dust or debris accumulates on the camera.
This combination reinforces the fundamental character of the JL-2A: traditional Jeep design references paired with modern usability.

The heritage package carries an MSRP of $4,995. Jeep says that represents only $115 more than a similarly equipped Wrangler Rubicon, making the package primarily an opportunity to obtain the JL-2A-specific styling, materials and commemorative equipment rather than a dramatic mechanical upgrade.
That pricing structure is particularly relevant because the JL-2A starts with the Rubicon platform. Buyers are effectively paying for an extensive visual and interior transformation while retaining the underlying Rubicon configuration.
