The era of the ultra-SUV has produced some genuinely outrageous machines, but few can match the sheer excess of this 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk currently listed on Cars & Bids. Already formidable from the factory with its supercharged Hellcat-derived V8, this one has been transformed into a full-scale street and strip weapon with an estimated 1,800-horsepower capability and more than $100,000 reportedly invested into the build.
At the heart of the package is a built Modern Muscle Xtreme 411-cubic-inch stroker engine paired with a Whipple Gen 6 supercharger, creating a combination designed to deliver brutal acceleration while maintaining the Trackhawk’s signature all-wheel-drive traction.
Supporting hardware is equally serious, including Frankenstein Performance heads, a custom-cut camshaft, Stainless Works long-tube headers and exhaust, a Fore Innovations triple-pump fuel system, and massive 2250cc injectors. An unused Nitrous Outlet Progressive nitrous system further hints at the SUV’s extreme performance potential.
Power is routed through a fortified Sipple MAX Effort HP95 8-speed automatic transmission and transfer case, complemented by a Circle-D Specialties torque converter and an Active Interchiller intercooler system engineered to keep intake temperatures under control. A BWoody Performance suspension package and Mickey Thompson tires help translate that immense output to the pavement.
Finished in Diamond Black Crystal Pearl Coat over a black interior, this Texas-owned Trackhawk retains premium factory equipment such as Brembo brakes with yellow calipers, a panoramic sunroof, and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. With under 30,000 miles displayed and a clean Carfax history report, this heavily modified Trackhawk represents the extreme edge of modern American performance SUVs.
