Now offered for sale on Bring a Trailer, this extensively modified 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon represents a meticulously planned off-road build completed for its original owner shortly after purchase. Showing just 9,000 miles, the JL-generation Wrangler combines premium aftermarket equipment with Jeep’s legendary factory four-wheel-drive hardware, resulting in a highly capable trail machine that remains exceptionally well preserved.
Finished in Black Clearcoat, the Rubicon has been transformed with an aggressive collection of armor and expedition accessories. A VPR steel front bumper houses a Warn Zeon 10,000-pound winch and is complemented by multiple Rigid Industries lighting upgrades, including roof-mounted and bumper-mounted LED light bars and auxiliary lamps. Additional exterior enhancements include a raised steel cowl hood, Smittybilt steel fenders, rock sliders, tube doors fitted with Body Armor MOLLE storage panels, a Rugged Ridge Spartan grille, smoked LED taillights, reverse lighting, and a rear cargo net from Smittybilt.
At the rear, a Smittybilt XRC Atlas bumper incorporates a swing-away tire carrier supporting the full-size spare while also accommodating a Hi-Lift recovery jack and dual fuel containers. A receiver hitch and integrated recovery hooks further reinforce the Wrangler’s trail-ready credentials.
The chassis has received a comprehensive suspension overhaul centered around a 5-inch Fabtech lift system featuring Dirt Logic coilovers with remote reservoirs, adjustable front and rear track bars, and an upgraded steering stabilizer. Rolling stock consists of black 20-inch two-piece Fuel Maverick wheels wrapped in massive 38-inch Nitto Mud Grappler Extreme Terrain tires. Supporting upgrades include Smart TPMS sensors, a Viair onboard air system, and red MGP brake caliper covers.
Inside, the cabin has been reworked with Corbeau Trailcat bucket seats front and rear, trimmed in black upholstery with quilted inserts and secured by striking red racing harnesses. Additional interior upgrades include a premium SoundFX audio system reportedly valued at more than $12,000, an sPod auxiliary switch controller, ambient Rigid LED lighting, Rugged Ridge grab handles, a mounted H3R Performance fire extinguisher, and Kleinn dual train horns.
Power comes from Jeep’s 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, upgraded with a Volant cold-air intake and Superchips flash calibration for improved performance. The engine bay also houses an ARB twin-motor air compressor, dual batteries, and an sPod power management system. Power is delivered through a five-speed automatic transmission to Jeep’s Rock-Trac four-wheel-drive system with Tru-Lok locking front and rear differentials wearing G2 covers. Mechanical upgrades continue underneath with Fabtech driveshafts, a MagnaFlow exhaust, exhaust loop delete, and Yukon ring-and-pinion gears, completing an exceptionally comprehensive Rubicon build equally suited for demanding trails or weekend adventure.
