A heavily optioned and lightly driven 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 392 Xtreme Recon is currently offered on Bring a Trailer, combining Jeep’s factory 6.4-liter Hemi V8 powertrain with substantial aftermarket upgrades. The Sting-Gray four-door has covered just 3,500 miles and carries a documented $88,490 original window-sticker price.
At its core, the Wrangler retains the naturally aspirated 6.4-liter Hemi V8, rated from the factory at 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. The engine drives through an eight-speed automatic transmission, a Selec-Trac dual-range transfer case, and a Trac-Loc limited-slip rear differential. The Xtreme Recon and Trailer-Tow packages further enhance the Rubicon’s factory off-road capability.
This example, however, has been substantially re-engineered beyond factory specification. A 3.5-inch MetalCloak GameChanger suspension lift is paired with Rocksport shocks and 17-inch KMC KM545 wheels carrying enormous 40-inch Cooper tires. A TeraFlex rear carrier supports the matching spare, while Rock Slide Engineering power-retractable running boards improve access without sacrificing ground clearance.
The exterior is equally purposeful. A 10-inch Rigid Industries E-Series light bar, Baja Designs Squadron-R Pro fog lamps, steel bumpers, bronze tow hooks, and aftermarket lighting complement the removable three-piece Freedom Top. XPEL paint-protection film covers the front end, with ceramic coating providing additional surface protection. A Borla Atak valved cat-back exhaust gives the Hemi a more aggressive acoustic character.
