Jeep has officially opened the order books for the new Avenger 85th Anniversary, a special-edition model commemorating 85 years of the iconic off-road brand. Designed to honor Jeep’s legacy of capability, freedom, and adventure, the exclusive variant combines distinctive styling cues with enhanced technology and a choice of four powertrain options, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to offering customers greater flexibility.
The anniversary model marks a significant milestone that traces Jeep’s origins back to July 15, 1941, when Willys-Overland secured the contract to build the military “General Purpose Vehicle” that would later become universally recognized as the Jeep. Eight and a half decades later, the company continues to draw inspiration from that heritage while adapting its vehicles for modern drivers.
Visually, the Avenger 85th Anniversary stands apart with an illuminated seven-slot grille, exclusive anniversary badging, bespoke bumper graphics, and striking 18-inch alloy wheels finished in gold. Buyers opting for the 4xe variant also receive a dedicated hood decal that further emphasizes its rugged character.
Inside, the cabin receives unique trim enhancements, including tartan-pattern upholstery, cloth-and-vinyl seats featuring the 85th Anniversary logo, and a specially designed dashboard insert that distinguishes the model from the standard Avenger lineup. Technology and safety have also been elevated. Standard equipment includes LED Matrix headlights, LED fog lamps, and a 360-degree camera system, providing improved visibility and driver confidence whether navigating urban environments or venturing off the beaten path.
The special edition is available with a broad range of powertrains, including petrol, e-Hybrid, fully electric, and Jeep’s capable 4xe all-wheel-drive system. UK pricing starts at £30,395 for the 100-horsepower petrol model, rising to £31,395 for the e-Hybrid, £33,395 for the 4xe, and £33,599 for the battery-electric version.
Beyond commemorating the brand’s history, the Avenger 85th Anniversary reflects Jeep’s enduring design philosophy of creating vehicles that balance rugged capability with everyday practicality. Signature features such as the seven-slot grille, boxy proportions, generous ground clearance, and durable protective body cladding remain central to the brand’s identity, while aerodynamic refinements and electrified powertrains demonstrate its evolution for a new generation.
With the launch of the Avenger 85th Anniversary, Jeep celebrates not only its historic legacy but also its continued transformation as one of the world’s most recognizable SUV manufacturers.
